- The new show The Gray House comes armed with an equally exhilarating soundtrack.
- The War and Treaty, Lainey Wilson and more contribute.
- The full 10-track LP is available as of Thursday, February 26.
The Gray House is an eight-episode limited series streaming on Amazon's Prime Video platform starting this week (Feb. 26). The soundtrack is exactly what country music fans crave.
They got a taste early with Willie Nelson's "Heart of America," an original song written by Erin Enderlin, Jim "Moose" Brown, and Jeff Fahey, which was released a few weeks ago to build excitement for the premiere. That same trio of esteemed country songwriters helped build out several of the songs on the tracklist, though remarkably, there's also a collaborative write between rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, Butch Walker, and Desmond Child on "Unholy Water" (sung by Adrienne Warren).
The War and Treaty have the honor of The Gray House theme song, "Blood in the River." Friend-of-country Scott Stapp (of Creed fame) lends his voice to a very patriotically titled track, while Lainey Wilson steps up for "Dead End Dirt Road," which suggests a lot of drama in this Civil War thriller. Shania Twain pairs with Drake Milligan (American Idol) late in the album, and Willie's song closes it out.

What Is the Show The Gray House About?
The Gray House shines a bright light on an unsung group of women who worked as spies for the Union during the Civil War, keeping tabs on Confederates by infiltrating bars, camps, and even their homes. It was risky business, but significant in the fight to protect American democracy. They're credited for shifting the tides in the North's direction.
All eight initial episodes (Season 1) of The Gray House are available for streaming on Prime Video. Each episode runs about an hour, give or take.
