When we caught wind of the Fisherman's Aesthetic trend earlier this year, our first thought was "Well it's about time." After all, we've been championing this look for a good while now, whether it's highlighting our favorite fishing collectibles or showcasing wonderfully weathered coastal cottages and sea-salted cabins.
And as much as we love the laid-back look in interiors, the Fisherman's Aesthetic also translates to apparel. There is, of course, the classic cable knit Fisherman's Sweater, which hails from the Aran Islands of Ireland, but lately—given the growing interest around this look—retailers are casting their own clothing lines devoted to the style.
Most recently, Anthropologie hopped on board with a super cute collection of fish-ionable apparel and accessories (fishermans sandals! a nautical knot necklace!) that is sure to get your spring wardrobe into shipshape condition. Here are a few of our favorite catches of the day.
